Local authorities and security services were mobilized on Sunday evening, October 4, after bone fragments believed to be human were discovered in an area between Tassoultante and Sidi Abdallah Ghiat, on the outskirts of Marrakech.
Authorities were alerted to the discovery and quickly dispatched the relevant services to the scene. The necessary measures were taken, and an investigation was opened to determine the nature of the remains and establish the circumstances surrounding their discovery.
Investigators are continuing their work as they await the findings of forensic and medical examinations. These tests are expected to establish whether the remains are indeed human and, if confirmed, could help determine the identity of the person involved.
So far, little information has been made public about the circumstances of the discovery. The investigation remains ongoing under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office as authorities work to establish the full details of the case.
